Join us Sunday, September 8th at One World Theatre for a FREE work in progress screening of Healer. Healer is a documentary about the progress and challenges of women doctors shared through personal stories and asks the question – is Medicine changing Women or are Women changing medicine? The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Dr. Candace Bellamy, a physician for the military, and director of the film. Doors will be at 5:45pm and the program will run from 6pm to 6:30pm. Candace will also be a guest artist, sitting in with Brian Simpson at his 7pm show.
This show is an Independent Artist’s Project, supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
